Welcome to Megan's past work page!
This page includes links to some Web projects I have worked on in the past:
Authority Web The Authority Web was a class project for my Masters degree, exploring how hypertext's system of links moves the balance of power from the authority of an author to the control of the reader.
Grammar Points I used these Grammar Points of the Day when I was teaching technical writing at the University of Washington. A fun way to quiz yourself on some of the finer (perhaps more pedantic) points of grammar.
Hyperfiction This web explores hyperfiction, the use of hypertextual links in presenting electronic works of fiction.
CPRD I worked on a Web site for the Coastal Protection and Restoration Division (CPRD) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Learn about the effects of toxic chemicals on coastal environments.
Wenk Web I created a Web site for Dr. Edward Wenk, former science adviser to presidents and congress, as well as professor emeritus of the University of Washington and author of several books. Find out more about his views on the future of technology and democracy.
Web Tips This is a small list of Web tips that I compiled a few years ago. Not really up to date, but it was one of my first attempts at a Web graphic, and I still like it!
