| "A Soldier's Prayer" To the One Above whose service I'm in, I lift my concerns, worries, and cares as I serve my fellow citizens. I fear for my comrades in arms while we leave for our next mission. I trust our commanders to obey the orders they recieve and aid us in serving our countrymen. I ask for peace of mind as we leave to face our impending battles. I worry that this war is uncalled for and harms many innocent people. I am reluctant to blindly serve, but it is my duty and privilege. I ask the One Above to guide me in this journey wrought with danger. Please bring us all safely home, but if I die, be with the ones I love. Megiana 8/16/04 |
