| From the desk of Kellieo and The Courier Mail and SeaFM The Courier Mail Jess and Marty are all at Sea They invaded your loungerooms and now television couple, and Big Brother survivors Jess Hardy and Nathan "Marty" Martin are set to raid the airwaves. The pair will take over the reins of Gold Coast radio Sea FM's breakfast show from Monday following the departure of long-serving presenter Suki Mead. Known to viewers as simply Jess and Marty, the pair have never been far from the spotlight after their romance blossomed on live television during the second season of the Big Brother reality television show. The announcement marks the end of a dramatic year for Jess whose brother Billy was among the Australians killed in the October bomb attack on the Sari nightclub in Bali. In a statement released on Xmas Eve, Jess, a Gold Coast local, said she was looking forward to her stint on her favourite station. Station manager, Nick Scott said the pair would inject "a dose of youth, excitement and enthusiasm" into the timeslot. "We can promise some unpredictable and compelling radio - we can't give too much away now, but rest assured, it will be big," Scott said. He said the show would offer a "sneak peak" into Jess and Marty's life post-Big Brother. "We're really looking forward to the show - it will appeal to a broad range of people, but will be a fresh format for Sea FM's target audience," he said. The announcement was made just hours after Mead finished her last shift at the station. Scott said while Mead had indicated she wished to complete her contract, "it was in the interests of all parties to make a clean break over the holiday period." Sea FM Kick off the new year with Marty & Jess for Brecky - with the Bar-Rat - starting Monday...
