Robert Beltran, the actor who plays Commander Chakotay on Star Trek:Voyager, is an under appreciated actor which, I hope will be recognized in the future. On Star Trek, Chakotay was the trusty First Officer, standing by Captain Janeway through it all. Chakotay was only able to shine in episodes where either the Captain was sick, or away on another planet. The one episode that I admire his acting abilities in was Scorpion. He was able to stand up to his Captain, even though all the viewers knew that Chakotay was harsh in love with Captain Janeway.
