Everything around me is filled with color: television, books, art, clothes, hair, eyes, skin, EVERYTHING! My whole life has color and I'm glad it does. I agree with Jonas's statement that it's safer to have color. And it's much too beautiful to live without.
Color means a whole bunch of things to me. As shown in figure 1, it means appearance, or the way you look at something. All of these cute creatures are so wonderful because they are all colorful and happy. Without them, they are just puppets that look sad and boring. As shown in figure 2, it means to be different. These cats are the same shape and size, but the bright orange color makes the colored cat extra unique. Without color, these cats would look like any other cat in the neighborhood. As shown in figure 3, it means to be special. These flowers from the best hummingbird collection need extra special treatment to stay alive. The only problem is that they have the same shape and size as some other flowers. The only way you can tell them apart is by their color. If they didn't have color, they could get mixed-up with others and fade away. All because they had no color! As shown in figure 4, color means feelings. These creatures are called neopets. The colorful ones look so happy because everything around them is filled with bright color. The others look so unhappy because they are surrounded by sameness. There is no color. Colors can change your feelings very quickly. And lastly, as shown in figure 5, color means names. These are TY beanie babies. The one with color has the name Rainbow. Who knows what the name of the lizard with no color would be? There are many names that are from colors. Another example is my dog. She is a Golden Retriever named Ginger, and she is the color of ginger. If I couldn't see color, it would be harder to learn in school, You wouldn't be able to make any art, you wouldn't be able to paint your house, there would be a lot of car accident because there would be no traffic lights, you would be able to pick out your clothes, you wouldn't be able to do anything the same.
Color is very important in life. Nobody in our community knows how it's like to live without it, but I prefer not to know. Without color, who knows what happen? Nothing would be the same without color and I'm glad that I'm lucky enough to experience it. |
