when we talk --
and I take the lead...
The way you beautifully light up --
As I stand there and watch --
the Miracle afore me...
And the way I see this happen,
As I stand aghast and in awe...
All these things make me wonder --
As you embellish,
and radiantly begin to glow.
Oh! What Wondrous Feeling --
Glowing,
Growing --
from within...
Deep in my Heart!
How fresh,
A feeling long gone,
begins anew to arise --
To awaken from that
long, mesmerizing slumber,
which for years had held me -- Confined...
Can it be that slowly it comes back --
from the darkness of my mind?
Aye! ... from my Soul?
And, as gently, but Oh, so urgently,
I perceive your Delight,
And as slowly,
Oh, so slowly,
I continue, and
slowly push on...
I vaguely, but surely,
perceive the awareness and joy,
that transform your intense
but crystalline sadness...
Into Radiant Beauty, employed --
but employed in the most natural,
and the most beautiful...
Yes, the most Pure manner and form!
It is all overwhelming for me...
So much, I am filled, completed,
made strong, even if just for a moment --
For it suddenly comes to me,
gently...
ever so gently...
That you Respond to me,
In that very special way --
And I ... am Overjoyed!
For before me stands a goddess,
a person of Radiant style...
A goddess which so long,
I had not even seen.
And now, here before me,
a Goddess once again --
A Woman with a Radiant Glow!
You are a Goddess,
a Venus...
No! ... An Aphrodite! ...
A true goddess -- but Real!
And I...
I am privileged to meet You
and encounter You,
and amazingly,
to sense your Appeal!
It's ambrosia and sweet honey
which I delicately sense and imbibe...
and it is summer, it is spring,
It is Joy,
for this Goddess and beauty are Real!
Oh! What gladness! ...
What Happiness!
I intensely -- and
So Profoundly do Feel!
