Welcome to Garra Veneno |
All of our Rules and Such. This part of the site is VERY much under construction. IC Rules can be found here. Overall, we are very open about RPing. While not everything goes, we don't want to limit your RPing Experience. If you are not sure about something, ask. |

Titles While Garra Veneno is not a strict community, we do wish that you would show respect to the leaders. Unless you are a close personal friend of someone or it is an informal situation, try to use their formal title. High Master: High Master / High Master Garglfluz High Mistress: High MistressBainclaw/ High Mistress Tassie / High Mistress Royal Children: Young Master or Young Mistress as it might be. Knight: Sir *Insert name here* Lord or Lady (Of any kind): Lord or Lady / M'Lord or M'Lady You get the point, right? Good. |
Setting *No modern weapons/items should be used in Garra Veneno. Garra Veneno does not have what you would call a human time frame, but it could be described as medieval. This also in *Try to cut back on modern words/phrases |
Out Of Character-ness Keep it in BRACKETS!!!!!!! [] These are brackets. Oooo Ahhh... |
Fights *Turn based. *Magic beyond simple movement of small objects (Like a palm sized rock or an acorn...) must be prepped. *Prepping must be reasonable. If you are looking to blow up the castle...well, that will be alot of prepping. Get ready for a marathon there. But we don't expect you to spend all day prepping. Just remember that spells aren't always small enough for only 2 or 3 preps. *Try to limit the speed of your character and realize that some physical attacks need preps too. *Try not to act like a god...unless you are one. In which case you should speak to the King or Queen about RPing in Garra Veneno. If you are not a god, you WILL have weaknesses. Try not to Power Game. *Hits will happen. Deal. *Death must be a possibility. Death happens. It is not impossible. Yes it is hard to let go of a character, but sometimes it happens. *Sparring and training will be done in the ring in the garden or the training room. |
Language *No Homophobic, or Sexist remarks. *The word Twink is not to be used lightly. Or Power Gamer. *Bad spellers will NOT be beaten up or poked at...unless they are really bad RPers. In that case you can help them out. If there is still a problem, just ignore them. *Any transgressions in the language sections of the rule book, may result in the Primes striking your character mute for a day or two. I am serious. |
Religion *In Garra Veneno we follow the Primes. However, the High Mistress has declared that all faiths are welcome. *The Temple/Church will adjust to suit the needs of all citizens. |
Attacking the Castle *We are on an island, and ideally, have guards posted. Large attack groups will have to cross the water to reach the shore. Talk to Ven about this. *There are mists surrounding the island. This will make it a bit harder for the people on the island to tell who is coming, and for what purpose, but it will also make the island harder to find. On a rather misty day, it is not unknown for a furre to boat around for hours and not notice the land is only a few meters away...best to travel in small groups and make sure that people know where you are. *As the High Master of the Castle is an experienced mage, there will be a magic ward/power node up in the castle, hidden behind a wall in a secret location. It will be created over the first few weeks of opening and will be a part of the castle's structure. To start a full blown attack on the castle, you must agree to it's existance and it's powers. It won't be easy, but there are ways to get around it. I swear. *"I have been magically blessed by three people and I can't die and I ate a mage/necromancer/person of power and have their power now because I ate them and what do you mean did I get training..." is not one of the ways around it. *If you want to start a really good RP with lots of fighting and many storylines...YES! Tassie likes! Just talk to her first. That's all I ask. |
RP Rating *We do not mind more adult RPs in Garra. This includes violence, swearing, and sexuality. *For more extreme situations, please ask for permission from all furres involved before you start anything. Remember that some things may be too real for some and triggering. |
