This is an Original Pampanga Recipe.
Chicken Soup With Whole Corn.
Prepare: 1/2 chicken, cut to medium pcs.
2 whole corn, cut into 2 each. (I suggest white corn)
4 cloves garlic, crushed and cut
4 thumb size ginger
2 medium size red onion, finelly sliced.
10 seeds black pepper, crushed;
8 tbspoon fish sauce (patis)&nbsp; or simply iodized salt
1/2 liter water.
3 tbspoon cooking oil.
Cooking.
Saute Garlic into hot oil. Stirring continiously, When close to golden brown  add ginger, after 4 mins. add onion after 3 mins. add chicken and stir to mixed well add black pepper. cover for 5 mins. then add fish sauce mix properly, then cover till chicken cooked to 70 percent. add water and corn. boil till cook, add more fish sauce (patis) or salt to taste.
Add vetsin if you like. But I discourage using it.
