Puso ng Saging w/ Meat.

Prepare 1 medium size, puso ng saging about 1/2 kg.
(Tip: To make sure na hindi mapait, pick one flower then bite it at the tip where it is connected, instantly you'll know the taste.) Do not cut yet!

Meanwhile, prepare 1/4 kg meat of your choice beef or pork)

6 cloves garlic crushed and chopped.
2 medium red onions.
4 tbspoon bagoong alamang (you can buy 1 small bot. for future use.)

First, cook alamang. Follow this:
1 big red onion, sliced
4 pcs siling labuyo (add if you like spicy)
7 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped,
1 big tomato cut to fine pcs.
4 tbspoon oil.
1/3 cup vinegar.

Sauté' garlic, followed by onion, then tomato.
Put alamang then mix well, after 5 mins. put vinegar "DO NOT MIX AFTER PUTING VINEGAR AND DO NOT COVER will have reactions). wait till it boils after 3 mins. of boiling then stir. add 1 tbspoon sugar mix then cover, simmer for 15 to 20 mins till it becomes thick.

Sauté' garlic and onion in oil, followed by meat add bagoong alamang cover then simmer till tender let water dried up.

Meanwhile, cut the puso ng saging circularly at about 5 mm thick.
immediately wash and pour vinegar in it, mixing with hands,
till all touches the vinegar, add more vinegar if necessary.
continue mixing the puso ng saging.

When meat is cooked, add the puso ng saging then get 4 tbspoon of vinegar which you used from puso ng saging.
Cover then simmer till all liquids dries up. Don't be surprise when the color is dark gray, dahilan ito sa dagta ng puso.
