Mechanical systems progress

The back deck gets two coatings of a urethane material with a layer of sand between.  This must not leak - our living room is directly below the deck.  The roofer from Saville Roofing does this work.

Rough-in for our hot water heating system begins.  The flue is installed and the heating system piping is being installed.  Our microlam beams can only be drilled in the middle 1/3 (vertically) of the middle 1/3 (horizontally).  An error here would force the terrible job of replacing the beam . . .

The heating system will have 4 zones - 1 north and 1 south for each floor.  The solar warming on the south side creates the need for separate zones.

Electric wiring rough in is also moving along - about 1/3 of the house is now wired.
