And I know your time is near.
You seem to have lost all will to live,
Now that Death is coming here.
I just wanted to say I love you,
And I’m glad that we are friends.
For all of the good times and the bad,
And all the fights we had to mend.
I just wanted to say I understand,
I don’t hold anything against you.
It’s time to move on and see the light
That is so wonderful and true.
And when all is said and done,
I cannot cover the one thing I must say:
When you are gone and tears roll down my face,
I’ll remember you with love every passing day.
