Will you regret today?
As you realize things you'll never do,
Words you'll never get to say.
When your life flashes before your eyes,
Will you grimace at all those times
You could have told a friend you cared
But thought, "Tomorrow will be fine"?
As Death takes you by the hand
Will you ask if there's another way
There was so much you didn't get to do
Will you beg for one more day?
Maybe to tell your family
Because of them you were blessed,
Or maybe there was a secret love
One that will never now be confessed.
At heaven’s gate will you look back
And regret all you’ve never done?
Will a tear escape before you enter those gates
If tomorrow never comes?
