After a consistent session of pure excellency (im not biased :) ) from the italian,Marco Melandri clinched the pole in the final minutes of the session.In the last 5 minutes the pole position was shared amongst 3 riders and finally obtained by the great MACIO! |

| 8/9/02 MELANDRI 2ND IN ESTORIL After an awful condition for racing,Melandri brought his Aprilia home in second place and was one of the few riders to actually keep his bike upright and not in the gravel.A good result for the championship however rain isnt the best of his abilities.Im sur in Rio in the sun he will kick more ass!Go Macio!!! |
