Your Mind — Ecotourism in Busan
Have you ever heard the expression from the Romantic period, 'Express the indefinite'? If you query for an explanation, 'use your limited resources and then create the infinite expression' may be one. Maybe literature is similar to the expression, because we are trying to express ourselves by language.
Writing is absolutely individual, and no one but you can decide what you write for or when you need to write. Writing may not be difficult; however, as you decide to write, you will be totally solitary. The difficulty will appear: you have to face yourself and your consciousness. No one can express himself without facing the absolute isolation. Furthermore, you have to understand the reason why you and the writing are going to co-exist: what is the meaning of the writing for you? I, stubbornly try to express my passion and the history of Taiwan in the last 20 years: what an absurd and sad attempt! And, it is my commitment to myself and to the writing.If next time you have an opportunity to write, try to face and express yourself. You may find writing is no longer a hardship. Finally, please enjoy this issue of Melange.
