The DJ started the music soon after the tables had been cleared - which meant our first dance was next on the list.

The tables were pushed back and room was made for a dance floor. Unfortunately, our DJ got the music list mixed up a little, so the song that was meant for our entry back into the hall was played first, and then our "Actual First Dance Song" (as he announced) was played right after.

He also couldn't find the song that I had originally wanted ("When you say nothing at all" - by Allison Krauss) so we went with out second choice. ("Amazed")

Now, I've danced slow dances with my sweetheart before this, but there was something different about this one - apart from being the first dance danced as husband and wife. It was much more romantic - and I felt as though I was dancing on clouds.

I would have blamed it on the wine, had I had more than one glass... but I hadn't, so I guess that it was just love pushing us up and holding us there.

I then danced with my Uncle (my Father's older brother - who had walked me down the aisle) while my new husband danced with his mom. ("What a wonderful world," by Louie Armstrong)

Then it was the party's turn - the whole wedding party. It started off with us all paired up properly, but the groomsmen wanted their chance with the bride, and the bridesmaids their chance with the groom, so we were all OVER the dance floor.

After that, everyone joined in, and well, it pretty much stayed like that for the rest of the night - until the garter and bouquet toss later that evening.
