Poetry?!
She writes poetry?! Yes I know everyone that actually knows me is thinking that exact question...lol

And yes I do write poetry, have for a few years now. I hate numbers but I love writing... Anything from stories, to articals, to poetry...

One of my favorite poems I have written is the one about a girl and her horse... So If ya can be bothered reading it, I'll put it here...
A GIRL AND HER HORSE
Have you ever noticed the strange love
Between a girl and her horse
No-one could possibly know
The right words to describe it
A massive powerful animal being controlled by a girl
It's as if they have a silent understanding
To watch a girl and her horse is amazing
The horse who could no doubt over-power her
Is as docile as a lamb
Not a mean bone in his body
Watching the girl lead the horse back to the paddock
The horses steps fall in step with hers
They get to the paddock
She slips off his halter
And silently, she watches him join his herd pals
She leans on the gate awhile and watches
One last look and she walks back to the stable
No-one could possibly describe the love between a girl and her horse
It's one of those silent, un-spoken loves

Horsey Quotes
The child who ran weeping to you with a cut finger is now brought home, smilling gamely, with a broken collar bone and incredible contusions - "it wasn't Barney's fault, Dad."

The daughter who won't lift a finger in the house is the same child who cycles madly off in the poring rain to spend all morning mucking out a stable.

She lifted the drooping muzzle in both hands...It was a special embrace saved for special occasions.

There is as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

A pony is a childhood dream. A horse is an adult treasure.

All I pay my phsyciatrist is cost of feed and hay, and he'll listen to me any day.

My horse is my friend, not my slave.

The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horses ears.

If your horse doesn't care, you shouldn't care either.
