Grounding Yourself

This must be done after every magickal working, otherwise you’ll feel a bit like jello. During spellwork and ritual, a lot of your own, personal energy is released and it is important to recharge this energy after spellwork or ritual.

To do this, touch the ground (you can place you hands on it, sit on it, lie on it etc) or plant life (if failing ground) and absorb some of the Earth energy until you feel recharged (not over charged!). Slowly draw the energy back into yourself. This should not be like drawing energy for spellwork: you don’t want to draw in too much.
