For fighting depression

While sitting near a stream or river I take the leaf of a willow (or other) tree, and hold it in my right hand and cover it with my left. While concentrating on the reasons for my sadness, I chant softly, "sad thoughts "leave" me, keep only the good"...over and over (you are transferring the thoughts to the leaf...To finish i toss the leaf into the stream and watch it take the depressing thoughts away.

To combat a true depression...you should seek the advice of your physcian, they can assist your recovery as well. Should you be plagued by Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) Get sun even if it is in the guise of an artificial tanning salon...
