Review: Being a "Moonie" ("Moonie" Anime defination for beginners: person who loved the  Sailor Moon series and then discovered what anime was from there.  Sailor Moon was the first anime and was brought many girls into the anime market.) I have to say that the manga is a wonderful read for shoujo fans!  The series is basically about about a group of girls (most are teenagers) who become Sailor Soldiers that fight evil that threatens to take over the world.  Each girl has her own special powers.  Not only are the girls "super heros", but also try to lead their "normal" family lives.  This situation creates somewhat humorous situations.  In the end, "Love" and "Freindship" always win is the key theme in this series.  The art is fabulous in this series!  Although I question the weight of each girl since the creator seems to make them REAL skinny to the point where i sometimes question if they are actually "healthy", the eyes, hair, and coloring of the art is wonderful!  The manga is much more series than the anime series.  This series has tons of action with monsters being blown to bits, blood from wounds, and other such gore.  Not so much that this series will be like "X/1999", but an okay deal that some five year olds may be scared about.  This is one factor why this series is rated teen.  The other reason is cursing that the scouts tend to do.  Watch for some foul language.  Besides that there is no real reason for the rating.  There is also humor here and there.  Bunny (main heroine), is a complete clutz!  She'll make readers laugh.  Romance is also a factor for readers.  The main pairing in this series is Bunny/Darien.  For everyone who is confused who these charcters are, I recommend that you read this series!  It's the first manga I got into, and it'll always be one of my greatest favotires!
