My background: My experience with yearbooks began in the seventh grade when a teacher asked me to help with the "mug" pages of our junior high yearbook. I eventually went on to help produce my high school and college yearbooks. Upon moving to Texas in 1995, I found myself in the classroom, teaching journalism and advising publications. After working with Herff Jones as my publisher for nearly 10 years, it was wonderful to have the opportunity to join their sales force in June 2000. My education: B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and English, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA Texas Teacher Preparation Program, ESC 13 Lifetime teaching certificates held in Journalism and English (secondary) My territory: Encompasses the Austin-Waco area. I work with public and private schools of all grade levels. I also work with military units on special book projects and provide customized calendar printing services. |
