London
March 6-13, 2003
After a brief stay in London in 2000, it quickly became one of my favortie places.  So when the opportunity came to travel there with Mom over Spring Break, I jumped at the chance!  She was there to conduct site visits for Rollins student interns and I went just to keep her company and have fun!  We toured the city exploring Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park, Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Notting Hill, Harrod's, and ate at the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese (where it is rumored Dicken's wrote "A Tale of Two Cities").  A highlight of the trip was seeing the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower after hours.  We then took an amazing tour of  Old Sarum Castle, Salisbury Cathedral, and Stonehenge! After that Mom had to work, so I ventured out on my own.  I went up in the London Eye, saw the changing of the horse guard and the Buckingham Palace guards, toured Dicken's House, the London Zoo,  and the Freud Museum (which every good pysch major should see)!  Mom and I also  were able to catch a couple of shows - The Tempest at the Old Vic Theater and My Fair Lady!
