Jason was asked to attend the Construction Convention in Las Vegas to present some software - and I decided to tag along! Most of the first day was spent in airports and on planes but we were able to walk down the strip a bit and even saw the Fountain show at the Bellagio. The next morning I ventured out on my own for some shopping at the Forum Shops of Caesar's Palace and the Canal Street shops in the Venetian. Just before lunch I met up with Jason, Don, and Alice. We saw the Tropicana Wildlife Walk at the Flamingo, M & M World, New York New York, the lion habitat in the MGM Grand, Paris Las Vegas, the Mirage rainforest, and the shops, gardens, lobby, and fountain show at the Bellagio, and the volcano eruption at the Mirage. Jason and I then headed off the see the Blue Man Group! The next day Jason and I saw the circus show at the hotel and then headed off to the Luxor, the Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, back to M & M World, back to the Bellagio gardens, and to the Mirage white tiger habitat. That evening we had a wonderful dinner at Joe's Stone Crab with other "scalers" and saw the Freemont Street Experience. Our final day in Vegas, we toured the Hoover Dam and surrounding areas. We finished off our vacation with dinner at the Top of the World restaraunt on the 107th floor of the Stratosphere. As you can tell, we had a great time!!
