Completed Voice Link
The photo above shows a completed voice link using a kit that was ordered from Metrotek.  The kit can be bought pre-assembled, but we chose to assemble our voice link ourselves.  This was a relatively simple task, as the kit comes with pre-printed circuit boards, all the necessary components, and directions for assembly.  The only additional materials you will need to purchase are a low wattage soldering iron and thin solder, available at radio shack for under $10.  If you are inexperienced with soldering, practice on an old circuit board first, as you can short out your components if you use too much solder and accidently connect two areas which shouldn't be connected!

Once this voice link was finished, we used an oscilloscope to measure the input and output from the voice link.
Using the oscilloscope - the top line shows input into the transmitter of the voice link and the bottom line shows output from the receiver.
