Hi! My name is Melissa and I am now alumni of University of Maine at Farmington,  with a degree in English.  My real passion is writing.  When I'm not workingl or writing, I'm usually reading, drawing, listening to music, geeking out on the computer or watching movies (and anime!) with my friends. I love all kinds of music (except rap) but especially world music...Bulgarian is a must for any lover of vocal music!  But, I am a rock girl at heart!  My favorite band of all time is Orgy... the band with the most beautiful g-synth player: Amir Derakh! I am also a Trekkie and a Xenite.... *grin*      Another interest that I have is the Indian art of Mendhi; creating beautiful designs on the skin with a paste made from the henna plant. As time passes and I get film developed, I may be posting pictures to share of you all of my work!
