Personality: As a teenager, Lineve struggled with guilt caused by the deaths of her father and sister. However, time spent working in the Weyr with others who have experienced pain and sorrow has helped her come to terms with her grief. Her resilient and straightforward personality came to the fore, and she is now a happy, well-adjusted young woman. She is intelligent, and responds well to criticism, provided it is constructive. Lineve has a temper that, when aroused, can be hurtful to the unlucky victim, and sometimes has trouble controlling it when she is annoyed.

Physical Description: Tall and very fit, Lineve appears calm and capable. Her red hair is sun-bleached into gold, and falls in a thick wave to her shoulders that sets off her wide chestnut eyes and tanned skin. She wears mostly brown, gray or black clothing, and prefers not to wear skirts as a result of wearing trousers while apprenticing for her father and the other miners. She is unusual in this preference, as most people from Boll wear bright, vibrant colours. Her right shoulder is crisscrossed in scars, a result of Threadfall.

Description: A deep sky blue colour, Owenth has distinctive cyan-streaked wings. He is medium-sized, and has the speed and agility inherent to blue dragons. His hide has a tendency to dry out quickly, so Neve oils him often. A strong and active dragon, this shows in his personality. He is cocky and headstrong, and also very possessive, an unusual trait. He likes to know why things happen, or need to happen.

Special abilities: While only of average size, speed and strength for a blue, Owenth is extraordinarily intelligent. He is curious about everything, and this has lead to an affinity for finding new candidates.
