We were all there -- me, Megan, my older kids, even Mike and his brother and family showed up for this very awesome event! The Sun Kings opened the KihnCert, one of the best Beatles tribute bands ever! I was right by the stage rocking out to Beatles music! Can't think of a better way to start a concert! (Sun Kings above from where I stood)) The under 18 bands played at the second stage, so guess where Megan was? John Waite from the Babies was really great and Pat Travers still rocks out. Greg Kihn Band was particularly good, playing many of their older songs such as "Lucky" and "Madison Avenue Blues" along with the standards, and even jamming to Jumpin Jack Flash (Rolling Stones) and Train Keeps a Rollin' (Aerosmith) |

John Waite (from the Babies) - great hair! |
Pat Travers rockin' out! |
Tim Jeffries and Laurie Roberts from KFOX. I bumped into Laurie Roberts when I was running to the front of the stage to see the Sun Kings. I said, "They're going to play Beatles music!" and she smiled and said, "yes they are!" Laurie Roberts is on KFOX from 10 am to 2 pm every day |
John Waite and Greg Kihn jammin'! |
Ry Kihn is an awesome lead guitarist! |
Chris Jackson and Greg Kihn I listen to their show on 98.5 KFOX every morning |
"Rock on!" says Greg Kihn. |
