| On Friday night, Sept. 2nd, my older daughter Melissa and I saw them perform at the Little Fox Theater in Redwood City. Even though Melissa went with me just so I wouldn't have to go alone, she admitted that she had loads of fun singing and dancing to the Beatles music. After the show, she and I went out to Denny's Restaurant and I told her that I felt like we were friends going out, and she said it was fun... Life does come full circle when you can go out with your daughter and be "friends" again! Hey, Melissa even wears Beatles t-shirts, keeping the spirit alive! (see above with her sister Megan and her cousins). we had so much fun! |
| And the Sun Kings start playing their cool Beatles music! Megan got excited when they played "Hello Good-Bye," and especially ""She Loves You" at the end. They played Beatles music from the "early days" all the way up to Abbey Road...and even psychedelic with "I Am the Walrus." |

| On Labor Day Weekend, Megan and me met my son Stephen and girlfriend Liezl at the Millbrae Art & Wine Festival where we saw the Sun Kings perform once again. |

| Here are some authentic Beatles dolls from the '60's. I actually owned these Beatles dolls (exact replicas) and they sat on my dresser for years. don't know what happened to them. This was at the August 26 40th Anniversary Beatles "last concert" celebration. |

| ...and then the "Unauthorized Rolling Stones" showed up! they were also pretty awesome, and that dude looks a lot like Mick Jaggar. it was fun rocking out to the Stones songs, but Megan said she likes the Sun Kings the best. |
