Adventures in Francisco (continued)
The world from atop Lone Mountain
What a shock to see the construction crew around a lone statue and the one wall which still remains of the museums!!  I found myself missing the way it was...
At least the Cervantes statue still remains
...Along with good old Junipero Serra, who is probably in a state of shock as well.
The old and the new...statues from the past with one remaining wall of the museums across from the "new" DeYoung Museum
The New De Young Museum
The Old De Young Museum
Cool relics at the De Young Museum
<sing> San Francisco open your Golden Gate, you'll let no strangers wait outside your door...
The Golden Gate Bridge was actually built in the 1930's.  Before then, people had to take a ferry or a boat to get across the bay.
A rare treat -- clear sunset on San Francisco's ocean beach where the bay meets the ocean....
