| Mike was so nervous he bit his lip. "Kiss" has been his favorite band since he was a kid, and he finally got to meet someone from the band. (Kyle, Mike, Gene Simmons, Mary and Megan) Gene Simmons asked Megan how old she was, guessing she was 12. Megan nonchalantly told him she was 11. He fixed her hair (after picture was taken), putting it in front of her face and said, "There, that's better." Then, he gave her the "high five." He was totally cool and down to earth in real life. You'd never know that the night before he performed in full "Kiss" garb, makeup, costume, fire and sparks at the Shoreline Ampitheater in Mountain View. Mike and I were at the concert. |

| This guy stood in front of us in line at the Booksmith on Haight Street with his family. He said he hoped Gene Simmons would sign his guitar for him, since his band encouraged him to learn to play back in 1976. Not only did Gene Simmons sign his guitar, but he played it and tuned it. Todd was awestruck. |
