"I'm actually enjoying the tour very much..."  She didn't want to answer the other question.  This wasn't her dream.  It was her protection.  Soon the tour would be over and she would be gone, and Trinity Edwards would never surface again.  She wondered what would happen if the tour ended and the situation still wasn't settled.  She couldn't very well go back to L.A.  But she couldn't keep up the identity of Trinity Edwards either.  She couldn't believe she had never thought of that.  It was really important if you thought about it enough.  She sighed, and leaned back to stare up at the ceiling.  This confused Kevin.  He twisted his body over, looking at her.  But he didn't say anything.

There's something she's defintely hiding.  He thought, scratching his chin.  He had thought about her repeatedly for months and wished he could act on those thoughts but could never bring himself to it.  He didn't know why.  He never had trouble with a girl before.  You just go up to her, and say, "Hey, we should hang out sometime."  But when he tried that he got too many butterflies and his knees got weak.  Not even picking up girls at clubs seemed to satisfy him.  He still wanted Trinity.  It drove him crazy, and he might not see her again after the tour ended so he knew if he didn't say something soon he would never get his chance.  He couldn't help but let his eyes travel up and down her body.  She was wearing a pair of blue cut-off shorts, a white t-shirt, her hair was piled up loosely on her head, secured by a huge clip, and her glasses hung down her nose.  He couldn't help but stare at her legs, they were so long and tanned, and only enchanced her beautiful features.  He wondered what it would be like to touch those legs.  What those legs could do to him, he could only dream.

"Um...so...you look deep in thought."  Kevin mumbled out, barely audible to the human ears.  She looked up at him again and nodded.  "Yeah...I don't know.  Lately...with the tour ending, I've had a lot on my mind."  "Really?  Yeah sometimes that happens."  They just looked at each other in silence for a minute and than Kevin spoke up again.  "Hey this place kind of blows now don't you agree?  It's gonna be another forty minutes until its over, so how about this...I'm done here, and I suppose you don't got anything better to do...so why don't we go over to this little place I know of last time I was here that makes great Cajun food.  We could converse some more over lunch."  Kevin said hopefully.  There..He did it.  He asked her out for lunch.  Just the two of them, and no one else.  "Sure, that sounds great Kev."  His heart leaped three times at those five words.  His head was screaming "YES!"  But the only excitement he could show on the outside was a huge smile.  He stood up, and held out his hand.  "Alright than, we can take my blazer.  It'll be fun."

Awhile later the two were sitting in a cozy Cajun restaurant over-looking a bay.  It was so quaint...yet so elegant at the same time.  Romance filled the air as good ol' Cajun ballads filled the big room.  Trinity crossed her legs, not being able to take her eyes off Kevin. He looked so perfect even with lack of sleep.  It gave him that sexy look.  He probably looks like that when he gets up in the morning...her body tingled as she recieved the mental picture of Kevin waking up.  His naked body curled under silk sheets.  In her head she saw the sheet fall off his chest, revealing its bronzeness.  He would tiredly run his hand through his hair, and than look at her with a tired morning smirk.  Kevin's voice interuppted the wonderful thoughts.  She looked up at him, a naked Kevin poofing out of her head like a fading cloud.  "So what did you want to do before you found out that you wanted to  become an artist?"  She took that by surprise, she sat up a little more clearing her thought.  Quickly thinking of what to say.  "Well...before singing huh?  I guess i always had an ambition for being a cop.  You know, fighting against violence, taking down the bad guys."  She twitched when Kevin started chuckling shaking his head.  "What?" She asked offensively.  "I-I'm sorry...but I don't think I could ever picture you a cop.  That blue polyester would not look good on you.  I just don't think you and a badge would mix."  That surprised her VERY much.

Especially since that WAS her real profession.  Of course, she supposed he was right.  That's how come she was a very good undercover cop.  No one expected her to be in with the law.  They all thought of her as a girly girl who pal'd around with rich men.  To society, she was an elegant flower, so delicate she would never hurt a fly.  If they only knew that she could break their arm in under a second.  "Ok, so what your saying is that I don't have what it takes?  I'm just a girl prancing around in a tube top like Britney Spears?"  "No no, thats not what I meant at all.  You just don't strike me as the type to be a cop.  It just doesn't fit you.  It doesn't fit Trinity Edwards."  He defended.  But it fits Angel Lin...she wanted to say that.  It was on the tip of her tongue and she had to bite back to keep from making that horrible mistake.  "Ok well, what did YOU want to be before Backstreet Boys?"  "Nothing, Backstreet Boys were what I always wanted to be."  He stated bluntly.  She tried to rephrase the question.  "Ok, well if you weren't in the group what would you be doing?"  He laughed.  "Probably still be working at Disney World!"  She smiled.  "Seriously, I'd probably still be there."

"Well good thing Backstreet came along than."  "Yep."  After they finished eating they payed the bill and walked outside.  "Are you ready to go?"  Kevin asked.  "Well not really...,"  She looked at her watch.  "We still have a half hour till we need to be at sound check.  How about we take a quick walk over at the docks.  I love the ocean, and I'd really love to enjoy it while I'm here."  Trinity suggested.  Kevin stuck his hands in his pockets and nodded in agreement.  "Sounds like a good idea to me."  They walked quietly down the rocks that led to the docks.  There were three docks, at least 100 feet long each.  One going straight down the middle and than a split going left and right.  There were already couples and singles standing and walking around enjoying the salty sea air.  Trinity couldn't help but smile.  It was so romantic.  It felt right walking with Kevin, taking in all the beauty.  At the time she had no idea of it, but her hand somehow slipped into Kevins and they were walking down the docks hand in hand.  They recieved smiles people thinking they were a happy couple.  Well they certainely probably looked like it.

"Awww, Herb, now isn't that sweet.  Look at the cute couple over there.  Yoohoo!  Hey dearies come over here."  Trinity and Kevin turned seeing an elderly couple waving at them ten feet away.  Confused they walked over.  "May we help you?"  Kevin asked politely.  "Oh no...we just wanted to tell you how adorable you two look together.  You don't see too many couples like you these days.  You two look so happy, so right for each other.  Now...when did you two know you were soulmates?"  That broke apart their hands intwined and they both blushed, laughing.  They couldn't believe this, some strange old couple were grinning at them like dogs, twinkles in their eyes.  "Yes, when did you?  You two remind me of my wife and I when were together.  When I saw her I knew we were gonna grow old together."  The elderly man said.  "OOoohhh herb, your such a flatterer."  The woman cooed, blushing.  "Well, we aren't together..."  Trinity said, throwing her hands around nervously.  Their smiles faded.  "What do you mean?"  The woman asked astonished, a look of seriousness on her face.  "We just saw you two walking over there holding hands, and he was looking at you like you were a prized gem.  I've never seen so much love in a mans eyes."  The man said.  Trinity's face burned red at that comment.  Was he telling the truth?  She looked at Kevin who was blushing furiously as well.

"I'm so sorry we were mistaken, we just though-"  "Oh no, its perfectly alright.  We didn't uh..."  Kevin fumbled with his words.  "Well I defintely see something there between you two, you should both take lots of time and figure it out."  The woman instructed.  They just nodded and waved goodbye to the couple as they walked away.  Trinity looked up at Kevin, her face red as a tomato.  "Well whoa...that was um...different I guess."  "Yeah..erm.."  "We should be getting back."  "Yeah...

The drive back was silent and it was obvious what the elderly couple had said to them was bugging them.  Kevin was thinking about how stupid he was to have been caught, and that Trinity probably didn't like him and thought he was a complete loser.  And Trinity was contemplating on whether or not what the man said could be true.  But deep down, they both knew they were in a big ride.
