It hit him a little harder than he thought. He knew something big was coming, but he didn't want to except it. But than, right there in front of him, there it was. He had fallen for a fraud. He could have sworn his feelings were all for Trinity Edwards. But how could he feel for Trinity? She didn't exist. And yet, his heart still pounded as this beauty collapsed into tears in front of him. Angel Lin. He loved the name already. He should be angry. He should throw her out of his room, and never speak of her again. But no. This seemed right. He felt that this was the way things were to turn out. He wanted her even more now. He wanted Angel Lin. And...he had her.

Three months later (to the day)...
"Go on Ang, blow 'em out!" Angel contemplated her wish and than blew as hard as she could until all the candles were out. That recieved a wide range of applause from around the glorious hall. "Happy 23rd Birthday Angel!" The chrous came from all around. Angel smiled so wide she thought her lips would tear. A shadow came behind her and pulled her into their strong chest from behind. She relaxed into this position, feeling so peaceful. "Happy Birthday baby..." She loved that voice. Turning around, she grinned looking into those sexy brown eyes. "Thank you." "Yo Kev! Angel! Quit smooching over there and get some cake!" They tore their gaze away from each other and turned to a goofy Nick who was holding out plates to them. "Thank you Nicky." Angel said, offering him a gracious smile.
"No problem Angel." Nick responded with the same true smile.
Yep, things had defintely changed. As soon as everyone sat down with their cake, Brian and Nick stood up, clearing their throats and clinging their wine glasses with forks lightly. "Everyone, we'd like to make a toast." Brian stated to the now silent crowd, looking at the two with smiles. "This has certainly been a incredible year for all of us here in this room. We have Angel's co-workers from the LAPD." Brian pointed to the crowd of people sitting at a table. Everyone applaused, and the officers at the table cheered for themselves. Nick spoke from there. "Than of course, OUR people, the producers and managments, who made Angel's charade go smoother." Nick pointed to another group of people who cheered for themselves, and recieved more applause in return. After quick introductions were made to the whole bunch, they went on.
"Angel, I just want to start off with another *Happy Birthday* to you, and congrats on your 23rd. I know it's been a shaky year, but it's finally over with. Everyone is finally in good health again and functioning well. I can say all of us were surprised when we found out who you really were, but hell, Trinity is just as good as Angel Lin, if not better!" That recieved applause, and cheers. "But I just want you to know, that you've made long-lasting friendships with us and the guys, and also you've got a great man at your side. Just watch out for his head-locks though, their deadly." Brian joked. Laughter came from around the room. Than Nick spoke up.
"Well Angel. What can I say. You kicked my ass." More laughter. "BUT- that doesn't mean their is no way there won't be a rematch." Nick said. "Oh like hell there will be!" Kevin shouted from next to Angel, laughing. "We have mended our grudges on each other and I'm glad. You've grown on me, and I really don't know why we had trouble in the first place." "You didn't like me Nick." Angel said simply, grinning. "Well yeah, but hell, I love ya now, so everythings all good!" Nick replied, and than walked over and gave her a hug from behind. Aww's echoed around causing Nick and Angel to blush.

A few hours later Angel and Kevin were sitting on Kevin's comfy couch in front of his fire place, staring blankly into the flames. Things were so calm. After the party, everyone left for home as did Angel and Kevin. To Angel, it all felt so right. She had been surprised that he had still felt the same for her after the confession. And through all those months, their relationship blossomed, and those three words had been said not to very long ago. She had never been so happy.
Kane was sent to a state prison in his home country in England with life sentence, only a week later, he stabbed himself with a fork which lead to his death.
Donna had healed well, and was on her feet again, just as busy as before.
Angel and Howie's relationship grew as well, and next to Neils and Kevin, was her very best friend.
Nick and her FINALLY mended their ways but still had the occasional little fight only to make up five minutes later.
Brian and Leighanne were set to get hitched in six months time, and Angel was one of the bridesmaids.
Neils had fallen for one of Donna's nieces, and they are currently dating. Angel and Neil's relationship healed easily, and they still look out for each other.
A.J. and Angel had to stop fucking each other. (Darn...)
And as for Kevin and Angel, they were given the chance to have many prosperous memories... |
