A simple question.
When
writing I often come across an obstacle that not many people cope with: I am
unable to create names for characters. Pretty sad, I know. But to make this all
a bit more 'fun' and 'joyful' I've been thinking of this: Let your name appear
in any of my stories.
I know, it
does not sound as thundering or surprising, but I'm in need of names, not to
mention a new range of characters.
So?
You’d love to appear in one of my stories as an character or minor hook in an
story? (Along the lines of: ‘Retrieve my golden locket!’ Or ‘I suspect the
mayor is an traitor, working with the orcs…’) Or do you have certain
character traits that you’d like to see in those stories? Let me know!
How?
Either
telling me in person, or by e-mail.
When sending an e-mail, please keep in mind that you put something in the
subject line that makes it stand out from the numerous junk mails I receive
daily. Not ‘You are the winner!’ or ‘I want to be the one!’
What you receive in return? Not much in the ways of money or riches I’m afraid, just an cameo in the story as an colourful character that helps develop the story. Oh, and you shall have my eternal gratitude.
Those who have already given their name to the cause:
Colin Mans (The stoic anti-hero)
Sabrina Stor (The damsel in distress)
Brennan O'Brien (The wandering mercenary)
Nick Brookman (The silent, but violent type)
Martijn Blommers (The jovial guard)
Brian Seifstein (The illiterate gate keeper)
Mark Voorburg (The insidiously evil and mad cult leader)
Paul Sloep (The engineer and technician)
Rayner Harris (The Rightious and just)
Marc Jacquemijns (The virtious and the ladies man)
Vincent de Wit (The politically inclined and calculating Tillean)
Wilbur Versteeg (The brutal mercenary captain)
Timothy Newton (For helping me get good names)
Kaori Kapoigne (The blood sucking vamp - In more then one way)
