Tulsa Memorial High School is located on the Southside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Memorial bands compete annually in class 6A in Oklahoma Bandmasters Association contests. The TMHS band recently represented Oklahoma at contest in Orlando, Florida.

Memorial Percussion has been active as a part of the TMHS marching band, and historically also as a winter marching percussion ensemble. Recently, the ensemble was awarded 'high percussion' at the Sugar Bowl festivities and second place percussion at the Southern Oklahoma Marching Invitational Contest.
THE INSTRUCTOR OF PERCUSSION:
The Instructor of Percussion at Memorial since May 2005 is Jeffrey D. Wheeler. Wheeler's recent work includes instruction at Claremore High School, Catoosa High School, and the the 2002 5A OBA champion Bixby High School. Wheeler has studied privately with Tom Float, Brian Callahan, Russ McKinnon, and the late Fred Sanford as well as receiving his formal music education at Oklahoma State University and Northeastern State University.
THE FRONT ENSEMBLE TECHNICIAN:
The Front Ensemble Tech for the 2006-2007 year is Miss Judy Umdenstock. Miss Umdenstock is in her third year of teaching at Memorial High School and is an active adjudicator with the Mid America Performing Arts Association.
THE FUNDAMENTAL:
The most basic things are the most important.
