That Ann went to Africa and found a beau.
Mace, an ex-soldier, the time was just right
They met, and it was definitely "love at first sight".
So began the courting, they soon set a date,
The 29th of February - Nineteen Forty Eight.
So goodbye Bonny Scotland, Ann did not return
Instead as Mrs Menachemson in Jo'burg did sojourn.
Mazal Tov to all, its a first born son.
14 months later, with Chaim but a year
Zahava is born - a sister so dear.
Four years later -- The house is in a tiz
It's twins this time - what a biz.
Dina and Hadasa complete the Mac clan
It's three girls and a boy, in the Heavenly plan.
To marry, Aliya - to make lives of their own
Ann and Mace are never far away
Still involved with their children - in a beautiful way.
Their grandchildren adore them - both big and small
Their visits are cherished - enjoyed by all.
They've returned to their roots - Derech Tzleicha.
So join us - the kids - The wishes are plenty
For health and happiness - till a hundred and twenty
