Why this Star Trek layout?
Well, I'm no "Treky" but I watched this series partly on tv an I liked this kind of positive view into our future.
But some of the directives remembered me on philosophical problem: like the first one which says that its not allowed for the human beings to get involved in intelligent extraterrestical life because every kind of culture should be safed and should have their own chance to grow bigger and life in their special ways of life.
Thats one of the points why I'm asking myself a tv-series can be more intelligent than the politicians of the western world. They want to bring their kind of "zivilisation" into all parts on earth and don't save the existances of older and "other" ways of living together.
