Welcome to Charcoal Feathered Dreams! ^^










This is a new fansite dedicated to my favorite anime series, Haibane-Renmei. Haibane Renmei, or the Charcoal Feather Federation is the story of a young girl who finds herself dreaming of falling from the sky. She wakes up inside a large coccoon, which later hatches. The girl then finds herself in a bed, surrounded by angel-like beings who claim to be called 'haibane'. Haibane are named after what they dream of whislt in their cocoons, therefore the girl is named 'Rakka' (falling). Rakka then has her halo fit (with the help of a headband and wire X3) and then has to go through the painful process of growing her wings. After she has recovered she learns about the home, ways and mysteries of the Haibane. Thus begins Haibane-Renmei, the most involving, emotional and beautiful anime I have ever seen.

13th July 2005 -

First update in a year! O_o This is just a short update to annouce that I will revamp this site in the next few months. I worked hard on this and I think it would be a pity to delete it. Look out for the re-vamp soon :)

1st June 2004 -

Ryoga523 has very kindly provided some scans of the haibane-renmei US boxset, so I will get them up asap. Plus Yukino-chan has done yet more fanart. ^^

30th May 2004 -

I'll get some stuff up today. not sure what yet, but Yukino-chan has been busy with more fanart so I'll get that up. I'll probably do episode summaries soon, but it means I have to go and watch the episodes. lol Ryogahibiki523 has been kind enough to say that he'll scan his dvds for the gallery. If any one out there has any articles, interviews, photos, fanstuff or anything else they'd like to submit, please email me!

Whoah! No updates for over a month! I'm sorry! I have been a very busy haibane! I'll try get some stuff up as soon as possible.
