Drucilla's half brother, Wesley Brideson, was killed at Lone Pine, Gallipoli during 1915. His Will left his square mile block (640 acres) of land at Danyon in the Mallee to Drucilla. Her second husband, John Pallot, and his eldest son Albert John Pallot worked the land until Drucilla's sons were old emough to take it over in 1924.

Are they Mathilda’s parents? The Hillston electoral roll also provides another puzzle - Mathilda is on the roll at Willanthry 1913 to 1926. In 1928 Leon and George are there, then in 1932 Leon is the only Beaupeurt there. Where did George’s family move to? The obvious answer involves the children’s schooling.
