Richard Bramley 1839 - 17 Aug 1871, son of Ellen Storrey and John Bramley, born at Crich, Derbyside, wed 1 June 1858 at Crich to Dorothy Harrison 1833 - 4 June 1891, daughter of Charles and Dorothy Harrison born at Crich.
The family lived at Wessington where Ellen and William were born. They came to Australia as unassisted migrants at 10 pounds an adult, on the 'Golden South', arriving 1863.
Richard drowned in the Lodden River, Victoria, 17 Aug 1871, while trying to cross the Lodden River on a makeshift punt with John and Joseph Whimpey, and John Williams.
