I was interested in your MCWATT entry on your website. My ggg grandmother was Margaret MCWATT. She married John COOK and they had at least three children, Mary Ann born ca 1828 Leven Dumbarton, Robert b 1829 Paisley and John born 1842 Paisley.

Do you know anything more about your Robert James Cook MCWATT?

Maria Barberwas researched 2 Dec 2008, as the result of an email received from . She sent a copy of the wedding on 4 Sep 1880 at Walhallo Wesleyan church, of Maria Dudley to Robert James Cook McWatt.
Maria said she was aged 32, living a private life at Pearsonville, born in White Cross, St Lukes, Middlesex, England, daughter of William Daniel Barber an Ironfounder, and of Alice Beck, had been married and was a widow - husband not heard of for 7 years and supposed to be dead, leaving her with 4 living and 3 dead children.
