Frances Symons married a Charles Capp in 1902 in Ballarat. Charles was born in Ballarat. Any chance you may be able to place him? I have noted a James Cap as minister on a number of Ballarat death certs.

I see Frederick Capp and Martha Olney had a son Charles 1872 #7067.
We received something from Keith Collyer who is researching the Olney line only last week which states that Charles Capp was the brother of Annie and he was living in South Africa in 1941 when Annie died on January 1, 1941. He married Fanny Symons on 27 January 1902 in Ballarat. Fanny was born in Ballarat in 1873.
According to Keith, Charles and Fanny visited Oztralia in 1911 with a daughter listed only as Miss EF Capp.

Sun, 28 Nov 2004 Progress report
Not sure if you have the following extra snippets. Also interesting to see that Charles' sister Annie also went to South Africa - for interest, do you have anything more on them?

Charles was living at 14 Clyde St at 1902 marriage - a decorator. Fanny (Frances) Symons was Dux of Ballarat College. Also a Painter. Her father Henry John Symons was not pleased when Fanny wanted to marry Charles Capp - the Symons were not meant to marry but work for the family and Fanny was the only surviving daughter in the family. And her mother Mary Ann had died just over 2 years earlier. H.J. would have expected Fanny to keep house for him, and after 2 years she was probably happy to be leaving.
So when they did marry he gave them as a wedding present a one way ticket to Sth Africa. He relented later as he left Fanny an annuity when he died in 1911 - that could be the reason why they had a visit to Ballarat in that year.
They lived in Durban - house named Wendouree. We have a postcard - shows Frances with Ella in Sth Africa - message written across the front was Compliments of the Season. On the back is the Address for Mrs G Flack, Belle Vue, Ballan, Victoria, Australia. The stamp area was Durban, 06 (1906 ?) Natal. Returned 1911 on fathers death.
Their daughter Elleanor Frances died at Mitchell Park Nursing Home, Durban (aged 85).
Ciao, Tim Robbins

Subject: Fitall research
This is what I found today, will try and get back Thursday and look at more microfilm. So far the handwriting has been amazingly legible. It appears that George and Margaret had a child named George born a short while before their marriage or else there was another George and Margaret in that immediate area. They closed before I could get a good look at the 2nd film. Only got to the 2nd page.

Sholden Register
Parish of Sholden in Kent in the archdiocese of Canterbury
This is all I machine copied today. It is a big hassle to copy up there. They only have one reader copier and you can only use it to copy so you have to keep taking the reels loose and holding your place and taking it to her to copy. She is a real nice lady.

Comment for September 12, 1813
This next record and the one for Hannah are on a different (the next) microfilm and the record for George is strange. It is on a form on one page and partialy covered by a sticker that says part of the page was damaged so I can only read part of it. Then on the next page it is listed differently.
