Up from the grave they came

Preying upon those who betrayed

Drinking the blood of the guilty

Saving the lives of the pure

Fangs like razors, sinking deep into your flesh

Eyes hypnotic and tantalizing

Beware of your surroundings

They may want to play awhile

She  is a vampire.

She does not burn in the sun,

Nor does she cringe when she sees a cross.

She cannot command a pack of wolves to attack,

Nor can she make another of her kind with a simple bite.

Wolves do like her, don't get me wrong

Though, as do most predators,

They like to have some fun.

She can jump so high that one might think her flying.

And as for blood...

She likes the warmth, the dripping,

Especially when she is hungry...

And she is often hungry.

She can taste the sweetness of his skin

The burning deep within

She sinks her teeth into his flesh

Feeling the warmth till his death

Teeth sharp as a double-edged sword

Her hands bring death

Her steps lead straight to the grave

She gives no thought to the way of life

Her paths are crooked; but she knows it not

It's the only way to live

The warmth of the blood

So sweet on your lips

Color of deep garnet

To lay my eyes upon it

Makes me weak at my knees

Sinking my sharp teeth

Into powerless victims

A rush surges through my being

Feelings of ecstasy and pleasure

Hypnotic eyes

Irresistible lips

Soft smooth skin

Blood gives me the life to do it all over again

In every drop there is life

In every person there is desire

It only takes on bite

And I will make you live with me by my side

While your body lays there to die
