DARK RUNNERS
Kenshin sits atop a roof overlooking Shrouding Mist, searching for his victim. He spots a stumbling man in the distance. He seems to be well armored and rather drunk. " Ah, there he is, right on time Stryfe." Kenshin thinks to himself.

He stands, pulls his bow and knocks an arrow. Slowly setting his bead on Stryfes head.

"Stryfe, wait up." Kenshin hears in the distance. " I thought that you were gonna pay up today." Continues the tall, well built man as he joggs towards the Stryfe. His right hand on his blade, seemingly ready to draw at any moment.

Kenshin waits to see what will play out. Maybe his sensless killing wont be so senseless.

"So, where is the money that you owe me? You said last week that you were gonna have it today. Yet, what is this, you don't and well..." He leans forward and sniffs.    "You seem to have enough for drinks." The man draws his blade and puts to Stryfes throat.

Stryfe stumbles back and fumbles with his blade. " You really want to fight with a drunk right now. I see what...what kind of man you seem to be." He draws his shimering blue sword and leans on it as to gain his balance.

The two trade blocks and near misses. Stryfe, seems to be in a state of awareness that isnt found in drunks. After a few more swings, Stryfe manages to wound his attacker.

"GUARDS!!! GUARDS!!!" The wounded man yells. Not far in the distance 8 guards dressed in full plate with a blue and white symbol come running up. Each are carring different types of weapons, some Kenshin can identify but others he cannot. Soon the guards surround Stryfe. He looks around at them trying to keep his balance. " Thats him, get him." The wounded man yells to them.

"Yes sir." One of the guards says. The guard steps forward with a drawn sword. "Sir, I put the sword down and come with us."

Kenshin draws his bow and sets a bead on the wounded man. He releases with deadly accuracy, and strikes true into the head of the man. Quickly he knocks another arrow and sets up on the guard steping toward Stryfe. He finds his opening and takes it, striking him through his helm. Again he knocks another arrow and aims at one of the guard nearest him. Kenshin fires and strikes him in the back of the leg, dropping him instantly to his knees. Dropping his bow Kenshin jumps from the roof and lands behind the wounded guard. He drops the man by a single touch. The rest of the guards take their sights off of Stryfe and turn to Kenshin. With the speed of the wind and the force of lightning Kenshin drops two other guards. As if planned Stryfe picks up a cue and drops the guard right behind him. As the guard to his left makes a move to attack Stryfe, Kenshin pulls a dagger and launches it into the knee of the guard, slowing the attack enough for Stryfe to take the kill. The final two guards seeing the carnage retreat with haste.

"You know, I was set out to kill you, for the disgrace you and the others brought to the Dragons." Kenshin announces sheathing his blade. " I see that you are in some financial  problems, we might be able to work something out."
