Prerequisites for English 1302 Online
	Academic Requirements
			All students must   -- have completed (passed) English Composition and Rhetoric II   -- submit a writing sample (two pages; MLA essay format) on a topic          individually assigned (via email) by the instructor.         * The essay must be proctored by someone in an official academic          capacity (teacher, librarian, administrator, secretary) -- someone other than friend or family member.        The writing sample must be completed/submitted (by email, FAX,           or regular mail) before the end of the second week of class.
		Technological Requirements
				All students must have -- Windows 95/98/2000 or Windows NT -- Corel Word Perfect or Microsoft Word      -- an active Email account which can be accessed at least twice a week      -- an active AOL/Instant Messenger account for Chat Room activity (downloaded free from the Internet) -- Adobe Acrobat Reader (downloaded free from the Internet)     -- convenient access to the Internet   *Students must be relatively experienced in using email,  word  processors. and the Internet.
