Acrostics 1-8 Right at the very End of a long day sleep beckons me Softly with Promises of a whole night of peace and tranquility, yet all too soon I awake, forced to realise That sleep cannot Ever be more than merely a brief.... So much of life is so Hugely pointless, futile and Inconsequential that one starts To wonder why we bother with such... Diametrically opposed to my Idea of Existence is a Traditional, healthy balanced... Lots Of Very intense Emotions... Never before has a new government been Elected into office With such an overwhelming sense of optimism... Loyal supporters, floating voters And even the politically apathetic were saying 'Things can only get Better and 'Thank God we've got rid of thhat Other lot. The poor naive souls still haven't realised Unfortunately that capitalist governments only ever Really serve themselves... Such a Non-eventful sport, so Obviously devoid of any skill, excitement Or drama. I honestly fail to see why people Keep watching it. Give me something more Emotional and true-to-life any day. Y'know, something Real and gritty, like Eastenders or The Bill... Milestone of Immense proportions, Likely to be Largely celebrated everywhere at the End of Nineteen Ninety-nine In a variety of Unpredictable and Mental ways... There Are times when one must simply Let out one's Extraordinary Natural aptitiude for Things... |
