Chasing The Sun
My life seems so long, it hardly seems real And I'd hardly describe it as 'fun.' I feel disillusioned, there's nothing that's pure, So now I'm just chasing the sun.
My spirit is ill, it's had too much grief, I can't finish what I've begun. The people are cold as I feel inside, So now I'm just chasing the sun.
I'm living my life day to day, hand to mouth Yet I still feel like I'm on the run, But the uncertainty gives me clearness of view, So now I'm just chasing the sun.
So now, as the disappointments are great And the plus points seem to add to none, So now, as we're scrapping for what we can save, Now, I'm just chasing the sun... MTJ 21.2.00
