Germany 0 - 3 Portugal

Conceicao 35, 54, 71

And the changing balance of power in world footy shifts once more....Germany did hit the post in the first-half, but from what I could gather they were overrun by the better team in the second....but obviously I wouldn't really know, 'cos I was far too busy watching the all-too-familiar scenario unfolding in Charleroi, described below...

England 2 - 3 Romania

Owen 45          Munteanu 48
                        Ganea pen 89

And again.....almost too predictable for words....start a bit sloppily, concede a freak goal (and that's being kind!), sort it out a bit, equalise from the spot after a foul on Ince, take the lead on the stroke of half-time through the boy wonder, concede straight after half-time due to a goalkeeping error, then drift towards qualification, only for Phil FUCKING Neville to let his man get past him without making a challenge, then blatantly fouling him once he'd got in the box....in the 89th minute...plus ca sodding change....
