Winter
Winter is coming, the nights drawing in And the days getting shorter; our times they begin. Our thoughts turn to Christmas, and faces from old, And heavenly times in the bitterest cold.
Winter is coming, leaves fall from the trees, The wheel turning round with the greatest of ease. A time for reflection, and goodwill to men Before the whole cycle starts over again.
Winter is coming, the wind starts to bite, Even people like me start to feel cold at night. Snow lays on the ground, the animals sleep While the people start looking for things to buy cheap.
Winter is coming, the footy goes on, And people start thinking of what's come and gone And what's to come too; as this coming new year May be fruitier than most, just enjoy while you're here....
