OUR POLICY

Unlike some breeders, we don't make a habit of selling puppies before they are born. We prefer to wait until they are at least 8 weeks of age to determine if they are of sufficient quality to send to a show home. In fact we have run puppies on until they have been 6 months or older for overseas homes to ensure that the purchaser is getting what we consider to be a good quality show cocker, and we would certainly not offer a puppy to a show home that we would not be prepared to show ourselves.

Also because we only have an average of 2 litters per year, there is often some time to wait before a puppy may be available to you. However we believe in placing the best interest of our puppies first, and so our policy is not to work on a "first come - first served" basis. We select the best possible home for each puppy based on it's individual needs, also taking into account the preferences you express to us when approaching us for your new puppy. This way you get the best dog we have to offer to your specifications, and we maintain our reputation for fine quality Cockers (and all going well we get to be thrilled by your successes in the showring as well which is just as important to us as our own success!!). Our reputation for breeding good quality Cockers has been, and always will be, far more important to us than any whim to be the first, or the biggest, at anything!

From time to time on this page, you will see photos of puppies which we consider good enough to offer as "available to a show home".
