As we cut to CHP headquarters, we see
Bruce Nelson’s promotion to Sergeant.
As Jon comments that his

we cut back to the freeway to see Ponch
chasing the mustang Ponch is pulled over and ticketed by a young CHP Officer by the name of Roulette.
As everyone is congratulating Bruce went Ponch shows up, I “sorry for being late Ponch side to everybody” He immediately runs up, and goes right by Jon, and hugs Bruce. After saying hello to everyone else, he finally greets Jon Ponch complains about being give a ticket because he was ticketed by and Jon side Roulette and just at that time Roulette drives up and takes off his glass and look at Ponch and comes over and side that there is no bad filing and McFall side to Roulette be nice.
As Ponch and Jon talk they hear a screech and a crash they spotted a bicycle that caused an accident and they looked over at they run to the nearest motors and they looked over at the two bikes and road off on them and Roulette side my bike quickly catch up with the cyclist and pull him over.
Jon questions the 28 year-old while Ponch realizes there’s something familiar about all of this we’re then treated to a flashback from the 1977 pilot episode in which Ponch and Jon pull over this six-year -old on a bike.
As”7 merry3” and “7merry 4”patral the freeways we hear
the song I Love L.A. After the song, Ponch reveals that he has been paining for the past fifteen year.
Meanwhile, we witness a gang of car thieves steal a porches and a new set of golf clubs in the back of the car were steal.

On the streets of L.A., the car thieves plant a device on a blue Dodge Viper. Later, on the freeway, they push a button and cause the car to smoke. When the driver pulls over, they steal the car.
Meanwhile, McFall is called to court. Ponch, Roulette, and Nelson respond to the call about the stolen Viper. Ponch and Roulette speed ahead while Nelson calls it in. Capt. Baker also responds in his car. Ponch and Roulette pass the street the Viper was reported on and have to go around the block. When Nelson turns the corner of Gaffe and 30th, he is confronted by a tour bus and crashes into a parked car. Jon arrives and carries Bruce away from the accident just before the motorcycle explodes. Ponch and Roulette arrive to find Bruce in very bad condition Jon and Ponch are in the back of the
Ambulance with Bruce on they way to the hospital.
Bruce needs a blood triunes and the blood van is stuck some were on the 405 Ponch Meanwhile Jon and Ponch are on freeway and a call comes over the radio saying that side you’re the captain Jon you can get Stormy back hear.
