Please don’t cry for me when I’m gone,
Just lift your voices with happy songs.
My spirit shall forever be with you,
I will watch over every thing you do.

Just remember the wonderful love we had,
Listening to your songs will make me glad.
While I was here you gave my life much joy,
Remembering our friendship you shall rejoice.

Don’t cry when I go to join that angel band.
God will greet me with out stretched hands.
I will join in singing heavenly songs,
There in glory is where I will forever belong.

I wish you to come sing with me today,
While for that life in eternity we both pray.
And if tomorrow I should not be here,
Instead of crying, lift your voice in cheer.
